My dad came to be a resident of 21st Century, Deer Park about 7 months ago. He was 98 years old and diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. He was 99 right after he came there and passed away on April 20th during this COVID-19 virus. During his stay Dad always said “they treat me good here, and they take good care of me.” I visited almost every day and he was always clean, dry, and happily watching his westerns on his tv. Toward the end, Sebie was always checking on him, and loving, talking to him. This is when the virus hit and I couldn’t be with him anymore. Sebie would send me pictures, text me or call me everyday and give me updates on his sleeping, eating, and meds she was giving him. Santosh and Sebie even held him up to the window so Sister and I could see him. I always felt like they were very caring and took extra personal care in their home with the residents. I always felt very comfortable and so happy we chose this home for the last days of my dad’s life.
Thank you Sebie and Santosh!
